On the other hand, a student residence gives you the benefit of interacting with like-minded people from different cultures and backgrounds. How long will it take to learn English?
It is difficult to predict but if you are starting from zero knowledge you should have a good grasp of the basics of the language you are studying within about twelve weeks.
