Summer Programme Benefits

Why Summer Language Camps?

Language learning summer camps and programmes offer a multitude of benefits for children, enhancing both their academic abilities and personal development.

01

Enhanced Language Skills

Immersive environments provide natural and continuous opportunities for children to practice and improve their language proficiency. This hands-on approach is often more effective than traditional classroom learning.

02

Cultural Immersion

Children gain exposure to new cultures, traditions, and ways of life, which broadens their perspectives and fosters a deeper understanding of the world around them.

03

Social Skills Development

Attending a summer camp with peers from around the world cultivates essential social skills. Children learn to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

04

Educational Advancement

Language camps often provide a structured environment that combines learning with fun, keeping children intellectually engaged during the summer break. This can contribute to better performance in school, particularly in language and social studies courses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Summer Camp FAQs

My child has a food allergy. Can I be confident that the school will be able to take that into account when preparing their food?

Yes you can. Please ensure that you advise us what the allergy is and we will make sure that the school and the on site support team are aware of the allergy. We also suggest that your child brings a letter with them to the school regarding the allergy and that it is given to the Reception team on arrival.

Are children tested for their language skills?

Depending on the school, children take a language test either prior to arrival or on their first day, to assess their language level and aptitude. They are then assigned to a class with children of a similar ability.

Is it possible for my child to take a recognised language exam while they are at school?

Some schools offer a state recognised language exam at the end of the course. If you would like your child to take a language exam please contact us for more details. All schools offer an end of course certificate.

Do your summer courses for students aged between the ages of 10 and 17 include all meals and accommodation in the price?

Unless specified otherwise on our website; the courses include all meals, accommodation, excursions (where stated) and lessons.

My child is interested in doing a course in Computing and English but you don't seem to have such a course on your website.

If you do not see the type of course you are looking for on our site it doesn’t mean to say that we dont offer it. We have access to a large number of courses, so do please email us if you are looking for a course and can’t find it. We are very confident that we will be able to help you.
